GOD OF SCIENCE VOL. I
Director + Motion Designer • AI Short Film Teaser
God of Science Vol. I — Teaser is a grounded noir AI short set in 1980's Los Angeles that explores legacy, power, and the symbolism of the ankh — the “key of life.” The challenge was building a cinematic, emotionally restrained world using generative tools while maintaining realism, strong visual storytelling, and brand-level polish. I built custom workflows across Veo, Kling, Midjourney, Photohop, After Effects, focusing on tone, composition, and subtle visual effects rather than spectacle. The result is a cohesive proof-of-concept that feels intentional, immersive, and ready to expand into a larger narrative universe.
The main title design was created using traditional motion design tools rather than AI. I designed the typography in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, using bevel, lighting, and textured treatments to give the type an ancient, dimensional feel that reflects the mythology behind the story. Subtle layers of Egyptian hieroglyphics move slowly in the background, adding atmosphere while the title reveals in a strong cinematic way.
